The gap

There's a conversation your benefits can't hold.

You pay for the doctor, the dentist, maybe a hotline your people are supposed to call when life gets heavy. Almost nobody calls it. Traditional employee assistance programs report single-digit usage year after year; Business Group on Health puts the median at 5.5 percent.

The heaviest things your people carry sit where faith meets ordinary life. A marriage under strain. A grief that won't lift. A question about God they can't raise at the Monday meeting. Nothing in the benefits folder was built for that conversation.

Why companies offer this

Care for the whole person you hired.

Hard seasons don't clock out.

The person who shows up Monday brings the marriage, the grief, the question that kept them up. It sits in the truck, the meeting, the third missed deadline. Giving them somewhere to carry it well is care and good stewardship at the same time.

Care they'll actually reach for.

Most care benefits go unused because they ask your people to open up to a stranger who doesn't share their faith. A matched pastor or biblical counselor who does is a door they'll actually walk through, on a weeknight or a Saturday if that's what their life allows.

It says what you believe.

You built the company on your faith, and a benefit like this says it quietly, without a word of pressure, in the language of care. Christian-led workplaces report engagement near double the national average.Best Christian Workplaces, State of the Christian Workplace 2026; Gallup 2025.

Included free, forever

The free tier is a real benefit, not a coupon.

Becoming a Care Partner costs your company nothing, ever. It's not a trial. Here's what turns on the day we launch:

  • Your own company page and link. Your people land on a page with your name on it and the benefit already applied. No code, no enrollment window.

  • 10% off every session, automatically. $90 instead of $100, through your link or a verified work email. Charged after the session, never at booking.

  • Matched, never assigned. Every guide is credentialed, background checked, and theologically reviewed, then matched to each person's story and theology. Free rematch any time.

  • Two lanes of care. Biblical counseling for the heavy seasons, spiritual formation and mentorship for growth. 50-minute video sessions, evenings and weekends included.

  • Announcement kit, written for you. The email, the language, the answers to questions your team might ask. You announce it once and it sits as quietly as the dental plan.

  • Zero admin on your side. No rosters to upload, no invoices, no renewal. It launches any month of the year, no broker required.

How the benefit works

Live in days, not quarters.

1

Your company gets a link.

One 15-30 minute conversation, then setup on our side takes under a day: your company page, verified work-email eligibility, and the announcement kit ready to send.

2

Your people get matched.

Anyone on your team who wants to can get matched with a guide who fits their story, their theology, and where they are. The benefit applies automatically. Free rematch any time.

3

Sessions on their schedule.

50-minute video sessions, evenings and weekends included, charged after the session and never at booking. No subscription, no minimums. We check in with you at 30 days.

How we partner

One benefit, three levels of commitment.

Start free. Add funding when you're ready. Nothing renews and nothing is per-head: you pay for care that happens, not for a benefit nobody opens.

Optional · You set the amount

Care Sponsor: subsidy

Cover part of every session.

Decide what your company covers per session on top of the discount. Applied automatically at checkout, so nobody files for reimbursement and nobody has to ask.

Change or pause the amount whenever you want.

Optional · Fund care directly

Care Sponsor: session block

Sessions your people use free.

Buy a block of sessions at the partner rate. Example: 25 sessions is $2,250, in the range of what a 50-person company pays for a year of workplace chaplaincy. We size it to your headcount in the first conversation.

Usage reported in aggregate: sessions used, sessions remaining. Never names, never session content.

Built for companies that were built on faith.

If your faith shapes how you run your company, this benefit says out loud what your people already know about you. If that's not your company, this will feel out of place, and that's fine. We'd rather be a perfect fit for the right team than a line item anywhere else.

Questions owners ask

Asked before, answered plainly.

We already have an EAP. Why add this?

Keep it. This covers the conversation it was never built for. Traditional employee assistance programs report single-digit usage; Business Group on Health puts the median at 5.5 percent. The heaviest things your people carry sit where faith meets ordinary life, and a hotline was never built for that. And if you don't have an EAP at all, this is your first care benefit. It starts free and launches any month, no broker required.

Is it legal for us to offer a faith-based benefit?

Voluntary benefits like this are established practice. Tyson Foods has run workplace chaplains for its roughly 120,000 employees since 2000. The keys are the ones we hold to in writing: always optional, no participation tracking by name, no consequence either way. We provide announcement language that says exactly that to your team.

Will employees who don't share our faith feel pressured?

That worry is a good sign. It means you'd offer this the right way. You announce it once, in words we help you write, as an open door next to the rest of your benefits. Then it sits as quietly as the dental plan. No enrollment, no meetings, no follow-up, and no way for anyone, including you, to know who used it. The clearest thing this benefit says to someone who doesn't share your faith is that your care for them doesn't come with conditions.

Is this therapy?

No. BetterFaith is spiritual care, discipleship, and biblical counseling. We are not a clinical practice and our guides do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If someone needs clinical care, their guide will say so and we will help them find it.

What does it cost?

Nothing to start, ever. Every employee gets 10% off every session automatically, and your company pays nothing on that tier. When you want to fund care directly, a session block turns budget into actual sessions: 25 sessions is $2,250, in the range of what a 50-person company pays for a year of workplace chaplaincy. You pay for care that happens, not a per-head fee for a benefit nobody opens.

Will our people actually use it?

The hotline asks your people to open up to a stranger reading from a script, which is why single-digit usage is the norm. This asks them to sit down with a pastor or biblical counselor matched to their story and their theology, on a weeknight or a Saturday, and to pay after the session, never at booking. We won't promise you a number. We'll show you one: your aggregate report counts sessions used and remaining, no names attached, so within a quarter you're looking at evidence.

Give your people somewhere to take the heavy things.

Tell us about your company. Fifteen minutes with Dakota is enough to set up the free tier and put the announcement kit in your hands. No contract, no per-employee fee, nothing that renews. If we don't think it fits your team, we'll say so on the call.

A note on scope: guides are not licensed therapists. Biblical counseling is pastoral care, not clinical treatment. A guide cannot diagnose or treat a mental health condition. If that is what someone needs, their guide will say so and we will help them find it.
