Spiritual Growth Mentorship, Online

Virtual spiritual growth mentorship with a vetted Christian guide, for when you feel stuck, dry, or ready to go deeper.

3 guides take this. Meet them

Most of us reach a point where the faith is real and the movement has stopped. There's no crisis to point at, nothing obviously wrong. The prayers we've prayed for years have gone rote, and sermons that used to land now wash past.

Sometimes it isn't stagnation at all, but searching: looking for purpose, trying to read what God is doing, wanting the ordinary decisions of a week to connect to something larger. Neither one gets solved by another book or podcast. Both get solved by a person.

Common reasons people seek a guide

You do not need a dramatic reason to start working with a spiritual guide. "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled" (Matthew 5:6).

If you recognize yourself in any of these, you are not behind. You are awake to something that matters.

Feeling spiritually stuck

The practices that used to sustain you have gone quiet, and the next move is unclear.

Searching for purpose

You sense that God has something for you, but you cannot see the path clearly.

Navigating a transition

A new job, a move, an empty nest. Life is shifting and you want your faith to shift with it.

Going deeper in scripture

You want someone to help you dig into the Bible with more intention and nuance.

Building spiritual habits

You want a consistent rhythm of prayer, study, and reflection, but struggle to maintain it alone.

Processing doubt

Not the kind that means giving up. The kind that means you are taking your faith seriously enough to wrestle with hard questions.

The slow, honest work of becoming who God made you to be

Spiritual growth is not about checking off a reading plan or attending more events. It is the slow, honest work of becoming who God made you to be, and it almost always happens best in relationship.

A BetterFaith guide is a vetted pastor or biblical counselor who meets with you one-on-one through video. Not a teacher standing at a whiteboard. A companion walking beside you, helping you pay attention to what God is doing in and around your life.

What to expect in sessions

Your first session is about getting to know each other. After that, sessions settle into a weekly or biweekly rhythm.

In their own words

You can expect a space for prayer, Scripture reading, journaling, and a guide who listens.

Read Niberley's profile
  • Scripture that speaks to your season

Your guide brings scripture to your specific situation: the decision you are weighing, the relationship that is stretching you, the doubt that keeps surfacing.

  • Questions that go deeper

What are you afraid of? What would it look like to trust God with this? Where do you sense God's presence, and where do you feel alone? These questions create the self-awareness that fuels real growth.

  • Space for honesty

Performing spiritual maturity is optional here. Struggling with prayer is worth saying out loud, and so is being angry at God. Growth runs on that kind of honesty, and your guide's job is making it safe to be that honest.

  • Practical next steps

Sessions are directional as well as reflective. Your guide helps you identify something small to carry into the week. The steps build over time.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 1:6

Your guide helps you lean into that promise. Not by adding more to your plate, but by helping you see more clearly: where God is working, where you are resisting, where there is invitation you might be missing.

Built to fit your life

BetterFaith is designed to fit your life, not the other way around. Fifty-minute video sessions from wherever you are, on a rhythm you set with your guide.

If the first guide misses, requesting a new match takes one message. And if you are ready to move past where you have been and into the kind of faith that shapes how you live every day, a guide can help you get there.

Questions people ask before booking

More on the pricing page and in the full FAQ.

Do I need a reason to start?
No. You do not need a dramatic reason to start working with a spiritual guide. Feeling stuck counts. Searching for purpose counts. Wanting to go deeper in scripture, or to build a rhythm of prayer you cannot maintain alone, counts. If you recognize yourself in any of that, you are not behind.
Is this counseling or discipleship?
Discipleship. This is for growth, practice, and attention, carried by a discipleship guide or pastor. Nothing has to be wrong to start. If what you bring turns out to be a specific struggle that needs repair, your guide will say so and help you find the right kind of care.
How much does it cost?
Sessions are $100 for 50 minutes, and you are charged after the session rather than when you book. No subscription, no minimum. Session packs save up to 15 percent, and many churches subsidize or fully cover sessions for their people, so ask your pastor.
