A bridge between spiritual hunger and spiritual support
There is no good place to explore faith and spirituality in the marketplace. No place that's safe, welcoming, and free from judgment. No place where the steady believer who wants depth and the burned-out, doubting person who feels stuck in the dark can both find someone to walk with.
We want to make it normal and accessible to get wise, biblically grounded support from someone you trust, at the moment you actually need it. We want to see a generation of people grow in a faith that's honest, resilient, and lived in real life.

The road to Emmaus
On the road to Emmaus, two disciples are walking away from Jerusalem - confused, disappointed, trying to make sense of pain that shattered their expectations. Jesus comes near, but He doesn't rush them, correct them harshly, or hand them a quick answer.
He walks with them. Asks questions that draw out what's really happening in their hearts. Lets them speak honestly. Then, at the right pace, He reframes their story with truth - opening the Scriptures and helping them see meaning where they had only felt loss.
That's the model for BetterFaith. Guides who come alongside someone, not above them. People who can sit with real doubt, grief, burnout, or numbness without panic. People who listen first, ask the right questions, and then bring biblically grounded clarity in a way the person can actually receive.

Dakota Milner
Co-Founder & CEO
Four years in ministry. Nearly a decade leading business units, finance, and functional operations across media portfolios, private equity, and venture capital. Dakota's career spans two worlds that rarely overlap - and BetterFaith is what happens when they do. A former worship leader and youth pastor, he's still active in his church and the nonprofit world. He built BetterFaith for the version of himself that needed it most: someone in a real season of spiritual doubt with nowhere good to turn.
Cole Bryant
Co-Founder & Head of People
Cole spent over a decade in full-time ministry as a worship leader - close enough to see what people carry when they finally open up. He holds a master's in clinical mental health from Liberty University, bringing both pastoral instinct and clinical training to the team. At BetterFaith, he leads the people side: how guides are selected, how they're prepared, and what it means to be trusted with someone's spiritual life.

We will not ask you to compromise your integrity for a growth metric. We will tell you the truth, extend grace when we fall short, and pursue this mission together with excellence and humility. This work matters too much to do it any other way.
The logo is a path toward the sun. Say it out loud and you'll hear the other word: the Son. That's the whole idea. A race every believer is running, a journey every seeker has started. 'Better' isn't stronger or more firmly rooted. It's one step closer to Jesus than yesterday.
