About BetterFaith
Nobody should walk their faith alone
BetterFaith connects you with a vetted pastor or biblical counselor for one-on-one spiritual care over video. For the steady believer who wants depth, and for the one stuck in the dark.
The problem
Finding real spiritual care shouldn't be this hard
The world is yearning for something more meaningful than another feed to scroll. But when someone goes looking for real spiritual care, here is what they find:
Plenty of content
Sermons, podcasts, plans, books. Most of it genuinely good. None of it knows your name, and none of it can ask what happened after the last conversation.
Well-meaning community
Small groups, friends, a pastor who can sometimes find an hour. All of it matters. And a pastor holding four hundred people can't carry any one of them.
What's missing sits between the two: a person. One-on-one care for your spiritual formation, and biblical counseling for the heavier seasons.
We spent years in ministry, felt the burnout of care flowing one direction, and couldn't point a single person toward that. So we built it.
Why we're here
Make one-on-one, biblical spiritual care accessible to anyone, the moment they need it.
We're working toward a generation that doesn't walk its faith alone: every believer and every seeker with a person a few steps ahead, walking with them toward Christ.
The pattern comes from the road to Emmaus. The day Jesus rose, He walked beside two grieving followers and, before He explained anything, asked them a question and let them say all of it. Only then did He open the Scriptures, and later they said their hearts had been burning the whole time. That is the shape of every BetterFaith session: a guide who asks and listens first, and brings the truth of Scripture when you're ready to hear it, not a beat before.
Our guides
The people who walk with you
Every guide clears our five-round vetting process: interviews, theological review, credential verification, and a background check, before taking a single session. Here is exactly how we vet them.

What we hold to
Three commitments behind every decision
Gospel first
The gospel of Jesus Christ is the reason this company exists, not a marketing angle for it.
Radical accessibility
Spiritual care should be reachable by anyone, not only people with connections or the money for private counsel.
Whole-person care
People are not problems to solve. Spiritual, emotional, relational, and practical needs arrive together, and care has to meet all of it.
